Thank you so much for all your comments! I appreciate constructive criticism more than I can tell you.

I plan on commenting on your stuff soon ... i've been working my way slowly through the submissions people on my Watch made when I was in Australia and haven't gotten to yours yet. I'm on a dialup right now so haven't been online a lot.

To answer your question about what kind of camera I use, it's just a little autofocus Minolta. I'd love to learn "real" photography someday, but that'll have to wait till I have more time and money. Hopefully some summer I'll be able to take a class or two in it.

Thanks for the comment on When the Tide Goes Out. Yes, if the horizon was higherm the sky would not be as prominant. The Sky is almost always a character itself in my photography and therefore deserves more frame space than the groundplane. Low horizons are a staple in my images. hey thanks for taking the time to read the hate crime piece..I wish more would..not to say anything to or for me but just to be aware.

and I would say that pic. are like writting as far as practice goes...learn from others and find your flow...
